See the Kingdom of God! by Bill Bremer

Hey -- look at this!

Don't know who Bill Bremer is, but it's clear where he got this Word! (Do you feel the Wind...?)

After sub-Scribing to the KingdomScribes newsgroup, Bill sent along this Word. We've e-mailed him to get a little more info about him, but in the meantime we didn't want to wait on sharing this with you all.

This is an excellent Word. In it, Bill clarifies that over the course of the last century, when the Holy Spirit poured out in revival, people tried to make His move, their "move" -- trying to "corral" the Move of God in "denominations", churches", "conventions" and so forth.

But no more! God is bringing His people OUT of man-made "corrals", and INTO the Kingdom of God! This is an exciting Word for an even more exciting event -- the raising up of God's Kingom of Priests and Scribes!

Bill Bremer,
See the Kingdom of God!

During His 3 years of ministry on this earth, Jesus preached the kingdom and taught the relational characteristics and heart attitudes of the kingdom. Yet, even with the help of the Holy Spirit, seeing the big picture of the kingdom of God is difficult. Consequently, the church focuses on the King and neglects His kingdom and the cults focus on their kingdom and neglect the King.

It is time for prophets to proclaim, "Repent, the kingdom of God has come and is coming." It is time for apostles to preach the gospel of the kingdom. It is the time for God's people to love, know and see Messiah Jesus as King and to walk in the light of the kingdom as His disciples. It is time for a kingdom awakening.

Here's the picture. By the Spirit, Messiah Jesus is calling: For the last century, My sheep have been circling in the corral. I have sent more and more of My Spirit to strengthen and liberate My church. And, My people have grown in strength and understanding. But, they are still in the corral. They have received of My Spirit time and time again. But, each time they have possessed it and made it their own. They have made it their own church movement, they have made it their own church revival, they have made it their own church government and they have made it their own church reformation. They have made it their own. Here I stand at the gate to the corral. I have opened it. I have broken it open. For, I am the Breaker. And now, the gate is wide open. But, few of My sheep see it open and few go through. Now, it is time for the rams of My flock to see Me and turn and go through the gate so My sheep follow. It is time for the rams to follow me as their Head Shepherd, who is their King. The rams who have eyes to see their King will follow Me and break out of the corral into My kingdom, for I have set them free. My prophets have spoken of gates and doors. This is the narrow gate. This is the narrow door.

No longer will I allow My people to partake of the mighty pouring out of My Spirit and make it their own possession. You will no longer hear My prophets speak of movements and revivals of the Spirit and the church. My people do not need to be revived. They are alive unto Me. You will hear of transformation. For, I have liberated My people and they are being changed from glory to glory in My kingdom. The veil over their hearts has been taken away. As their Messiah, I have liberated them to see Me as Messiah and King. From now on you will hear of My grace and My glory. For, by My Spirit, I lead My people to be changed from glory to glory to be like Me. Help My people see Me as their Shepherd King. See the kingdom.

which hand holds the sWord of God?

When we read in Eph 6 the command to "put on" the armor of the Lord, the only offensive weapon included is the "Sword of the Spirit which is the Word (rhema) of God."

First off, the sWord of the Spirit --
One of the values of the KJV is that 400 years ago, English still had a plural "you". Nowadays, the word "you" can be singular ("I love you, dear") or plural ("I love all of you"). In the KJV, whenever you run into the word "ye", it's plural.

That's fantastic. There are lots of familiar passages which we tend to think of as applying to "me in the singular" which, in fact, are written to the Body of Christ in plural. Like in 1Cor 3.16: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" This verse often is interpreted as referring just to an individual Christian but in fact addresses, "Don't you know that all of you are the temple"

Anyway, in Eph 6.11, Paul wrote, "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand"

The "armor of God" is not worn by this Christian or that Christian" it is worn by the Body of Christ: "Put on God's armor so that you all can withstand" for we wrestle not against flesh and blood" take the whole armor that ye (or, "you all") may be able to withstand"

Point one: The Armor of God is to be worn by the Body of Christ" not simply an individual here or an individual there. When an individual Christian is overly focused on whether or he or she is "wearing God's armor", the real issue is lost. We all are to be building up everyone, the whole Body into wearing the Armor of God.

Point two: Who wields the sWord of the Spirit which is the Word of God"?

Why -- the Body of Christ wields the sWord of the Spirit which is the rhema of God!

And that explains why KingdomScribes is committed to equipping all Believers everywhere to focus on accurately and profoundly hearing the Living Word of God every day...becoming able to live prophetically in the Word AND the Spirit. It's because the sWord of the Spirit is to be wielded by the Body of Christ" and not just an occasional member of it here and there!

Second, the sWord of the LORD --
We find the sWord of the LORD over in Judges 7.18ff in the story of Gideon. In fact, it's called, "the sWord of the LORD (Jehovah) and of Gideon (which means "hewer" or "one who chops down" -- his sWord "chopped down" the Midianites!)

This passage is going to add weight to the question, "Who's wielding God's sWord?" Gideon has thousands of warriors who came to his call, but God sent all but 300 of them back home. Gideon (strengthened by a prophetic Word from his enemies") gave each of the 300 soldiers a clay pitcher hiding a flaming torch, and a trumpet. He told them to surround the enemy whose camp lay in the bottom of a small valley. With the enemy completely encircled, Gideon gave the signal, every soldier broke his clay pitcher at the same moment exposing its light, and blew his trumpet.

Let's look at that verse: "The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, "?A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!'" (Judges 7.20)

Notice their weapons were three: (1) a clay jar holding a candle; (2) a trumpet; and (3) the sWord of the LORD and of Gideon.

Also notice that the verse specifies which hands held which weapon: The "torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets"

Which hand held their swords? Left or right? Let's see" if the left held a jar and the right held a trumpet (Scripture's pretty clear there") then you'd have to say that neither hand held a sword.

The sWord of the LORD was wielded by God.

Question: Who wields the sWord of the LORD in your life? Is it in your left hand or your right? (If it is, better put it down and pick up your lamp and trumpet")

Let's take this seriously. It's not a trivial matter. Many people consider the Bible to be their "sword" and they use it according to their own inclinations. They use it to "slice and dice" their brothers and sisters in the Lord. Have you ever listened to a "christian" who quotes a Bible verse in order to lay some sort of judgment on another? "Well, you know the Bible says that to avoid all appearance of evil" and what you're doing sure looks evil to me!!!"

Ever meet other "christians" whose "Bible study" consists of sitting around arguing with each other? Or delightedly bringing up old proof texts about how the congregation across town is following the doctrines of demons?

Many "christians" act as if the Bible in their hands is their own, personal possession -- to be used according to their private inclinations. In Peter's second letter (2.20), he said:

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."

The point here is simple: Prophecy is not the property of human beings"it came from God and therefore is God's.

How does this affect a Kingdom Scribe? A Kingdom Scribe learns things from God -- in fact (according to Jesus) he "stores away" the truths he's learned. Then at a later day, he brings the old things out but when the Wind of the Spirit blows on them, they're made new (Fresh Bread!)

But the Kingdom Scribe never loses sight of the fact that the Word of God is God's. It came from God by the Wind of the Holy Spirit, and when we look at it today, we have to look at it in the Wind of the Holy Spirit. If we look at it with mere natural minds -- examine, analyze and categorize it -- it's a dead letter that kills instead of bringing Life.

When you open the Bible, what counts isn't how many degrees you have after your name nor how many books you've written about Jesus; it doesn't matter how many sermons you've preached or how many Sunday School classes you've sat through.

When you open the Bible, what counts is whether or not the Wind of the Spirit blows the sWord of God into the impenetrable and hidden depths of your heart, cutting apart the flesh from the spiritual.

One last point from Gideon: The soldiers held weapons in both hands -- left and right -- they still managed to "wield" the sWord of the LORD.

How?

They shouted. The sWord was in their mouths! And the sWord of God which is the rhema of God will come out of the Body of Christ" when His Word is in our mouths.

Doesn't this make you think of Jesus?
Re 1:16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
Re 2:16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Re 19:15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
Re 19:21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Jesus is the One Who wields the sWord of the Spirit -- but when any Believer puts the rhema of God in their mouths, Jesus takes that Word and goes to war with it!

"Flee the Teaching of the Visibles!"

Attention!!! We just got this e-mail from a brother in Uganda who e-mailed me with a prophetic teaching that's astonishing! We don't know WHO he is but we know WHERE he got this Word!

We're rewriting it (condense it and clarify it) to post for you all on both KingdomScribes.InJesus.com and this blog.

We can hardly believe it -- a Word from a bro in Uganda that is filled with the Fragrance of Spices on the Wind, blowing from the same Garden we frequent...!

***************

Exactly who authored of this e-mail is unclear. Brown Moses sent it but at the end is the name, "BWAYO PATRICK (PASTOR)". Both are unknown to me. Brown gave his snail-mail as Box 1255 Mbale, Uganda, and his e-mail as kingson19802003@yahoo.com (notice - whose son is he...and is he 23 years old???) For the purposes of this post, we'll consider "Brown Moses" to be the author.

Brown wrote that Believers must "Flee the Teaching of the Visibles!"

By "visibles", Brown refers to the pages of the Bible that can be "seen" and understood by the natural mind. That is, anyone who can read can pick up the Scriptures and "see" the "visibles" - the "shadows, copies, figures, illustrations, analogies, parables, etc." But the carnal mind can't see "beyond the veil" of these "visibles" into the "invisibles" - the Truths of the Spirit that cannot be understood by natural mind.

Here's Brown's warning: Those people who teach the Bible by teaching its "visibles" are against the teaching of the Bible by the revelation of what is invisible and only taught by the Holy Spirit. This is in line with Paul who warned that God "has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." (2Co 3.6)

Haven't you known people who "teach the Bible" but in fact, produce schism, condemnation, and death even while using the very words out of the Bible? They are "ministers of the dead letter", the "letter" that "kills". But when the Spirit is the teacher of the Word, it brings people into Life!

Brown says, "If Christ is not revealed (manifested) in you, you are yet being led by visibles (Veils)... But the visibles were appointed to serve for the pre-determined time in and by an old COVENANT as veils and thereafter be abolished to allow people to serve the true God by the New Covenant of the Spirit and not of the Letter."

The wording is awkward for English, but powerful in its directness. Brown's basic message is that true Christians must refuse any longer to approach the Scriptures as a dead letter. Teaching people only what is printed on the page of their Bible is spiritually dead. This method is antagonistic to reading Scripture through the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

So, what's this mean for KingdomScribes?
Brown asks, "Who are you reading? Moses or Christ?" When you approach the Scriptures, who's doing the interpretation - your carnal mind or the Mind of Christ?

A friend complained recently that in teaching a series of classes, for a season of time no matter what Scripture they looked at, she wound up teaching the same spiritual principle! Any Scripture she found seemed to turn back into that ongoing principle. But it's likely that she actually taught the "Spirit" and not simply the "letter" - that every time she "looked into the perfect law of liberty", she saw the Heart of God for her class at the season of time. She taught them - not as the "scribes" but as "one having authority"!

We're going to follow this whole issue up in our next blog.
The InJesus newsgroup site is better for shorter posts -- this blog will serve better for longer teachings. They both allow for you to comment in response to any of the posts.

In the next blog, we're going to deal with the Word of God as the "Sword of the LORD". The issue here is, if the Word is the Sword...whose sword is it and in whose hand is it wielded? If the sWord is in your hand - it'll only kill.

BTW -- If you want Brown Moses' unedited e-mail...
Just e-mail us at emil@KingdomScribes.net and ask for "Brown's e-mail". Delighted to pass it along.

Bless you all!

A Recent Vision: "String of Pearls"

String of Pearls

Michele had a vision recently of a string of pearls, adorning a bride at her wedding.

The "pearls" were the pastors in a given region. Not all the pastors, but those who are allowing the Lord to "string them together" in unity.

In the vision, she saw these pearls were "double-knotted" -- that's where each pearl on a necklace is knotted on both sides so if the string ever breaks, pearls don't slide off to be lost. At most, only the one pearl where the string breaks may be lost.

Interpretation:
Pastors are the "Pearls"!
The pastors are vital to this region, and must be upheld at all costs. These "pastor pearls" are spiritual gates, as in Rev. 21:21 "The 12 gates were 12 pearls, each gate made of a single pearl."

There are 12 gates/pearls because there are 12 Apostles. That doesn't mean there are only 12 "pastors" in this region in unity, nor does it mean that these are "five-fold apostles" either. That these gates/pearls are the Twelve Apostles, points to our pastors as ministers of God's spiritual authority over this region. Not "apostles" who inappropriately "control" the lives of others, but as spiritual authority maintaining and extending the Victory over the principalities and powers in this region.

Also, these "pastor pearls" are "gates" into the Presence of God for this region. Now, everyone knows a pearl isn't the size of one of Heaven's "gates" and if it were, no person could walk through one because they're quite solid. But this Heavenly "pearl" represents that Suffering which Releases God's Mercy -- and every pastor who is led by the Spirit of God, is a "suffering servant" through whom God's "mercy" is released into the lives of God's children. Through honoring our pastors, every Child of God who desires a greater release into the Life and Presence of Christ can find it through the shepherd God has given to each of us.

Knots help keep the pastors lifted up into the places God has put them. The "knots" are "tied" by the prayers and intercessions of the saints. But the "knots" are not the prayers themselves -- the "knots" are "Honor". Believers who intercede for their pastors bring honor both to God and to these servants who have suffered for the sake of bringing Christ to this region. As Believers continue to pray for their pastors, they fulfill the role of Aaron and Hur who honored the God of Moses by upholding Moses' authority (his staff, held in his hands -- Ex. 17.12.)

A necklace adorning the Bride! The bride in the vision is the "Bride of Christ" The unity of the pearls, each held in place in honor by the Believers, is part of the Preparation of the Bride in the Northcoast Region!

The Prophetic Promise
The vision is that of a string of pearls, strung together and each one double-knotted. The Lord is setting before us a strategic opportunity (Gk. topos) -- a koinonia (a project "co-owned" by all who participate.) This is an opportunity to not only press into the Unity of Christ but for Believers to uphold their pastors in power and authority and thereby release the Preparation of the Bride of Christ in every ministry region!

KingdomScribes, Wisdom and Revelation!

Why can some people see things in the Scriptures -- clear as can be -- but others can look at it in black & white and still not see it?

Truth -- real Truth -- is spiritually discerned. (See 1 Cor 2.14) If the "eyes of their understanding" aren't opened, the Truths of God can stand right in their face and they can't see it. This was exactly the case with the Pharisees. They searched the Scriptures (they memorized the Scriptures) because in them they thought they'd find Life, when Life itself stood before their very faces and they couldn't see Him!

A Believer can be saved and still be ignorant, saved and still blind, saved and still bound, saved and still fruitless, saved and filled with the Spirit and committed to church work and still not walking in the Kingdom of Heaven! Every Believer who is "discipled by the Kingdom of Heaven" has his or her spiritual eyes enlightened by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

BTW -- How does a Believer get that "Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation"? One way is to press into the Scriptures, crying out shamelessly to God for a release of that anointing... Another way is to sit under that anointing enough so that it begins to flow in that Believer as well. It's not that hard to find ministers in the Body of Christ with a revelatory teaching gift... Just keep asking God for spiritual leading in that search.

One last point for today -- Jesus says that the Kingdom of God "suffers violence", and" violent people are pressing into it". (Lk 16.16) For you to be "discipled by the Kingdom of Heaven", you must press into the Kingdom on two fronts: You must press into the Word of God and you must press into the Spirit of God. Trying to "press" into the Kingdom through only one of these "gates" will leave you immature and vulnerable to the enemy!

Now -- here's a thought to chew on: Pressing into the Spirit and pressing into the Word are ultimately one and the same thing.

Selah!

Daily Blog or Discussion Group?

Just a note -- we've got both a blog and a discussion group going.

We're going to see if we need both or not. We feel that they each serve a different purpose.

The blog is a good place for us to post frequent teachings, and easily allows comments to be attached to the end of any one of the teachings.

But the InJesus site is actually a discussion group, allowing a much freer interaction between our family of KingdomScribes.

SO, FYI...
The blog is at http://KingdomScibes.blogspot.com
The discussion group is at http://KingdomScribes.InJesus.com

Check them both out -- eventually, we may decide to just keep the one or the other running. If you have any thoughts on running both or just one, comment on this post with your opinion.

Thanks! Bless you!
